Edge introduces VSR video super resolution technology
The latest Canary Channel version of Microsoft Edge browser introduces Video Super Resolution (VSR), an AI-based video enhancement feature developed by Microsoft Research.
This feature requires that the device is connected to AC power and has one of the following GPUs: Nvidia RTX 20/30/40 series or AMD RX5700 – RX7800 series GPUs. technologies such as PlayReady or Widevine.
Currently 50% of Canary channel users will receive this feature, which can be enabled by turning on edge://flags/#edge-video-super-resolution.
Twitter suffers another massive outage
On March 6, Twitter experienced a massive hyperlink failure, with affected users tweeting images and links that did not open properly, and clicking on them resulted in an error indicating that the API could not access the endpoint. Sony Announces IMX611 Smartphone SPAD ToF Depth-of-Field Sensor
Sony Semiconductor Solutions announced on March 6 the upcoming release of the IMX611 image sensor, a dToF SPAD depth-of-field sensor for smartphones with a 1/8.1-inch size, 23,000 effective pixels, and 28% photon detection efficiency, enabling accurate distance measurement to objects, as well as support for 3D spatial recognition, AR occlusion, motion capture/gesture gesture recognition and other functions.
