ChatGPT Desktop App for macOS Officially Opened for Download
On June 26th, OpenAI announced that ChatGPT for Mac is now available for all users to download, and OpenAI says ChatGPT for Mac is designed to integrate seamlessly into users’ daily operations, with convenient shortcuts (Option + Spacebar) that allow users to launch the app anytime, anywhere. Firefox Browser Sidebar to Include AI Chatbots
Mozilla recently announced that users can access AI chatbots in the sidebar of the new version of Firefox Nightly. To activate the feature, you need to open Settings, select Nightly Experiments in the sidebar, and then check the Integrate AI Chatbots checkbox, and then you can select the chatbots you want to use in Firefox, including Google Gemini, ChatGPT, HuggingChat, and Le Chat Mistral. The options include Google Gemini, ChatGPT, HuggingChat, and Le Chat Mistral.
Users can specify an AI chatbot and then call it from the sidebar while browsing the web to summarize the information on the current page, simplify the language of the text, etc. Mozilla reminds that some AI models are more specialized in specific areas, so users can choose the most appropriate AI model to accomplish different tasks according to their needs.
ByteDance Launches Doubao MarsCode AI Programming Assistant
On June 26, ByteDance released the “Doubao MarsCode” series of new products. “Doubao MarsCode” includes two products, “Doubao MarsCode” and “Doubao MarsCode IDE”, both of which are based on Byte’s self-developed Beanbag model, with AI code generation, code completion, code prediction, etc. The former exists in the form of plug-ins and supports mainstream IDEs such as VSCode, JetBrains, etc., while the latter is a cloud-based IDE. Motorola Announces Moto Tag Bluetooth Tracker
