Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 782G mid-range chip on November 24. 782G chip is based on 6nm process and contains 1 A78 core up to 2.7Ghz, 3 A78 cores up to 2.2Ghz and 4 A55 cores up to 1.9Ghz, and the GPU is upgraded to Adreno 642L. Qualcomm officially claims that the CPU is 5% faster than 778G+ and the GPU is 10% faster. In addition to the performance boost, the 782G supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5 memory, Wi-Fi 6E up to 2.9Gbps, Bluetooth 5.2 and millimeter wave 5G connectivity, an ISP with up to 200 megapixel sensor, and 4K 30fps or 720p 240fps HDR video recording.
